The new Microsoft Windows 7 (Seven) Beta - Build 7000 .
In my opinion... w7 is fast , even faster then xp, still has bugs , but is the first Official Beta release.

If MS keeps this going as they started it will be the PC OS we had expected for long time now , fast going & good looking :)

I'm also beta testing Windows 7 Build 7000. And I wanted to see how good it would run in around minimum requirements. So I installed it in an old laptop.
Intel Pentium M 1.7Ghz, 2 Gb RAM, Intel 915 128Mb Video card, used to have Win XP. And I have to say, it runs SMOOTH!! I was completely amazed because this laptop with Vista didn't run that smooth. But Windows 7 just impressed me, only nitpick is the Intel 915 driver, but i heard they fixed that in build 7022.

I'm so gona get this beta, I hope this upgrade is cheap for people with Windows Vista, It looks alot like it.

you dont have to defragment the hdd in any os, it is just an option that is recomanded for better performances .

It works with Vista drivers, allmost 90% . ATi for ex. has made w7 beta drivers for 4800 Series.

you organize stuff just like in vista, w7 has some new "smart" feautures added. for ex. the "side window move", i dont know the exact name, but i use it alot.

i dont know, you can try some program like vmware but you cant use the os, you can just see how it looks. you can try to install it in a diferent partition.

now this could be the replace for XP. Vista was nothing but comercial strategy for budget.

What recording software did you use and what did you use to edit the video and add the sound? I'm going to re-do my Windows 7 video and I'm going to do it in HD.

it is not an upgrade, but many would have liked to be an upgrade for vista, including me :)
