I just broke up with my ex as I've had enough. She has disrespected me by calling me names and accused me once of something I didn't do(being on a dating app). She had trauma from her previous exes and although I kept on reassuring her that I'm not like her ex by making her feel loved and safe. Man my Girlfriend starts to use me as a doormat, I‘m a non confrontational kind Guy and can control my emotions really well. People somehow mistake that for weakness sometimes tho and no idea how to correct it.

My Girlfriend is on her period and the last days the disrespect got to a level i dont tolerate, in the moment i control myself and basically ignore it, maybe be a little more distant. I‘m not into arguing tho so no idea if i should confront her about it and just tell her or ignore her the next couple days.

I think imma ignore her for a while hope it helps and if it doesnt i need to breakup.

This is so true I was the nice people pleasing and sacrificed so much and I was in that scarecedy mindset and she left me and I beat myself up at the beginning then I worked on myself had a purpose and went out my buisness and gave her silence and man it really changed the landscape now I don't allow to be disrespected anymore and I let her know with a few words without getting emotional that I won't put up with nonsense and gave her silence they get the message trust me
