Moved to Vernal, Utah 8 years ago and it is the best place I have ever lived. I have lived in Alaska, California, Idaho, Missouri and Kentucky

Born, raised in Logan, now long retired we have a summer home in Providence. I love logan and Cache Valley during the summer, winters can be long and miserable.

Park City is most expensive town to live in the whole state. I lived in Heber for 2 years an absolutely loved it. Plus 15 minutes to Jordanelle ski lift.

I am a retired person over 65 and looking to move to central or Southern utah. Can anyone give me any ideas with a senior citizen on a budget, that can buy a small property and add a mobile home and 1 or 3 garages too.

Excuse me, but Orem looks like a giant parking lot. Probably the largest in the country :D

Except that Utah is running out of water. Remember this a is a dessert. We've been in a drought forever and they just keep building more and more apartments EVERYWHERE.

Why isn't Moab on this list? Great for outdoor enthusiasts. The list is far too dominated by suburbs of SLC (Sandy, Ogden, Orem, and Holladay which is way overpriced for no good reason; can't believe it made #1 this list).

This person has never been to ut. Orem prices median homes at 230k is laughable.

If youre into recreation.. Well the resorts are over crowded and over priced but the parks have plenty of people camping in them amd living in vehicles and under bridges usually when nba events happen things of the sort the shuffle an out of sight like cockroaches it's just a bad image for the church you see as how most of their doctors caused the opioid crisis with oxcotin pain killers, this then lead to a heroine pandemic in the valley which is still trickling about.. So if you feel like you can't keep up on an overpriced rent payment don't plan on finding a shelter or a cheap apartment

Got a nice laugh listening to you try and pronounce "Wasatch."

Whaaaat?! How does this guy mention Cedar City and not Saratoga Springs or Herriman or South Jordan or Lehi or Mapelton or sooo many other cities in northern UT? 🤦🏼‍♂️😂

Visit Cedar, but don't move there. There's no employment.
Way over populated for the number of jobs
Waiting lists just to get an interview
If you're bringing employment with you, Cedar city is your place
Or if you work remotely, bring your career with you and really want low-key with sheep ranchers who love classical art and nature

Its basically a giant suburb with not enough businesses to supply the growth, ..so the two lane roads are constantly over packed everything has double to tripled in price, the inversions continue to get worse and worse as the population increases .. It's basically suburbs walmart and mormon churches .. If you're looking for the lobby to hell you may have found it .. Its basically just suvs crowding once peaceful quiet streets during bankers hours .. There's nothing really to do, .. think salt lake is a boring ass city try.. tooele unless you're into alcoholism meth heroine cocaine or mormonism, .. But sure move here make the traffic worse and add to the drought issues ..the cost of living here has double almost tripled so theres that too most of the house have fractured foundations from the earth quake originals have been here long enough most of the utilities need replaced the roofs are constantly ripped off from the wind and most of stansbury is on well pond so half of it will eventually probably sink the small town feel ended along long time ago its just becoming a ghetto crowded extension of West valley crappy osb homes placed way too close together or way overpriced apartments.
