BTW have you guys seen the movie "It's A Wonderful Life"? Around here they show it every Christmas. It's considered a very heart warming story, however, if you look carefully it's a very bitter film about rapacious bankers and a run on a Building and Loan. In fact it's my favorite "bank movie". The rapacious banker is brilliantly portrayed by Lionel Barrymore and Jimmy Stewart plays George Bailey. The movie was almost stopped from being shown because censors thought it was anti-capitalist. Some how the film made it past the censors and became very popular. Happy investing!

I can believe it. My grandmother who raised me lived through the Great Depression. At first it was lower hours at the banks. 10-3pm then it was a bank holiday on mondays. Then banks holiday tuesdays as well. Then only $10 a day etc etc until nothing
