Transform yourself into a MONSTER | Jordan Peterson

Показать описание
This video talks bout how to transform yourself into a monster. In the video, a harmless man is ridiculed since a harmless man is not a virtuous man. What the speaker urges the viewer to do is to become dangerous but have that under voluntary control. Jordan Peterson says that "you should be a monster" Why? Because id you are harmless, you can't do anything. If you are harmless you will match to the death camp just because you've been ordered to. In this case, a harmless man is compared to a rabbit who can't do anything except get eaten. There is more to it in the video.

About the Channel:
Welcome to wise advice motivation. Our Goal is to produce compelling inspirational and educational videos that tackle major areas of life such as relationships, self-help and so much more.

How we work:
This is a channel that is solely aimed at producing self-development videos with the goal of motivating, inspiring, and educating its viewers. The videos we produce have elements like visuals, audio, and background music Which are not owned by us. But thanks to the fair use policy we are able to use clips e.g. from interviews and Jordan Peterson's lectures and transform them by adding commentary in the form of animation and video footage. Here is how we work. Our editors brainstorm video ideas, then analyze hours of interviews and videos across youtube. After finding the clips, we then stitch them together, add music to provide an immersive experience and commentary in form of video footage and whiteboard animation. This commentary helps transform the video to be unique as well as gives the original clips a new perspective. We also add text animations to emphasize important messages in the video.

"You should be an absolute monster. And then learn to control it." I love that notion!

I remember my Aunt telling me that when you have children, they will give you the courage and strength you NEVER believed you had. This happened to me; I have always been a rather non combative person most of my childhood and adult life, more afraid of trying new things in life and taught that being competitive is NOT a " lady like " trait. After having my first child, I learned quickly that I needed to be fearless at times to advocate for my son, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2 . This was back in 1995 when knowledge of autism was not nearly known and getting a diagnosis at this time was comparable to me climbing Mt. Everest. The doctors that did know a bit about autism told me very grim statistics and finding resources was a constant battle. I was told I will be my son's biggest advocate, this " forced" me to take on traits I never knew I had in me and traits that I believed to be negative in nature. Going to thousands of I.E.P. 's and sitting in front of school administrators at that time was daunting, but looking back now, I recognize how much positive growth I learned from all this " fighting" for my son. When the doctors told me my son will most likely never speak or even walk, I have a beautiful 26 yr old boy that with many many hours and special education programs through out his life, he speaks beautifully and HE has taught ME more than I think I could ever teach him. The " Monster" Mommy came out in me when I refused to listen to some of these ignorant " educators" and doctors that basically told me to give up on thinking my son will ever progress in much of anything. Just 20 plus yrs prior to my son's diagnosis, autism was thought to be the fault of the mother. They even called them, " refrigerator mothers" , because they were thought to be cold and inattentive of their offspring. And many of these children were deemed retarded and sent to " homes" with little to no intervention .

Thankfully, knowledge and programs for autism in the educational and medical field has progressed quite a bit, we now have much better support and public awareness on autism as well.

For literally my near entire 17 years of my life I locked myself out from the outside world. When people bullied me I went home and cried like a defenseless rabbit. I never wanted to "hurt peoples feelings", even if they hurt mine. But I finally realised after all this time that it's okay to be harmful to the right people. People are cruel, they can be horrible to you. But if you never respond you will be weak and depressed. I go outside on my won every day now. I've stopped being afraid of those who bully me because I know how to defend for myself. My mother says "Don't be violent to anyone unless they are violent to you", but one day, I feel maybe this rule will be broken. Someone will be extremely horrible to me. The outside world is cold, bitter and terrifying. But it's my goal to own the outside. I go where I want. Just because some assholes are gathered around doesn't stop me from achieving my goals. I go outside sometimes to meditate. You always get some stupid kids who poke fun at you. But I don't give a fuck. I carry on because it's their world but it's also mine. Even though I'm exposing myself to this harsh, unforgiving environment, I feel happier than I've ever been in my life, because you do find evil in this world, but it should NEVER make you be deprived of all thats good in the world.

Thanks Jordan for all your teachings. Early this year I had a massive breakdown. I watched your university lectures and they helped me so much. I love you so much, you are a true saviour. Thanks again for helping humanity regain some dignity in the midst of so much evil.🙏❤️

This reminds me of a quote that went something like this... "people do not fear the good man because he has too many rules. However it is for that exact reason that he should be feared, as those who do not fear the good man will soon discover why he has so many rules, not to protect himself from others but to protect others from him"

I was a nice guy when i was younger. Jordan is right. You cant live life like that. Be assertive, go for what you want, know how to be a bad man but exerciae restraint. Workes for me.

Im living the life his talking about, self experienced, i used to be bullied since i was 6 upp to 12, and one day i had enough and i beat the shit out of my bully, and then i kept beating upp every bully we had in school that was bullying other people, my lashing out made it so i got everyones respect and the nerds(i used to be one) loved me for standing upp for them to the point we had no bullies left in our school except me cause i bullied the bullies, u can believe it or not its a true story and since that day i havent let anyone boss me around or letting anyone weaker get hurt and me looking away, ive learned to not give a fuck and just stand up for others, i feel like i need to be a protector in the world i live in because so many people are being hurt and used by people with more physical strenght over them.
