Seriously, canning is one of my favorite food preservation methods. I had this canned beef stew warmed up within a few minutes, and it tasted like I had just eaten it (though I made it two years ago!)

Canned beef stew is one of my favorite canned meals to make because it is a comfort food and nourishing with the broth.

This is the case with canning! You can even can chilis, soups, hashes, roasts, spare ribs, meats, and a variety of other dishes that are ready to eat! Hassle free dinners await when you learn how to can.

Canning can seem daunting because of the stories of botulism and canners going boom, but when you know how to can and what to look for, those aren’t even a worry. I don’t worry about them at least.

Canning is how our great-grandmas preserved summer’s bounty to last them through the winter. Pretty neat when you think about it.

Honestly people have gotten way to accustom to their food looking "pretty" because of the grocery store. We need to normalize normal looking food again! ❤
I'd rather have a homemade soup over store bought any day!
