For pickup. That's new expression for me. I'd say "to go". Wait, it's a pizza shop. Someone might ask to deliver the pizza. Is that why he asked you like this?

I am wondering as to why he asked "If it was for pickup" because most pizzerias don't have a dining area, right? Customers usually pickup their pizzas themselves or get them delivered. 😢
