What to say if you catch someone looking/staring at you

If it is just someone looking at you wondering what to say then start a conversation. Otherwise, if it is someone who is creeping you out, then, stare right back, and give them a no nonsense "stop looking at me" look. Normally, someone is just trying to figure out how to start a conversation with you.

So when someone is staring, you’re supposed to anticipate their desires and help them talk to you? What the hell kind of weak ass advice is this? If someone is staring at you, first of all that’s creepy and should not be rewarded with positive attention. And second, if they are staring because they want to talk to you, that’s their problem to solve, not yours. No one should feel like they need to go talk to someone that is staring at them.

Usually I just stare back at them because usually the main reason why people stare at you (especially with strangers) is to intimidate you because they're failed bullies, they're insecure and they're more intimidated by you than you are of them especially if they start being verbally abusive and yet fail because you told those arseholes to leave you alone and they walked away but you didn't.

I get stared at a lot and it makes me super-pissed! I might glance at someone a couple of times if they are attractive or I like what they are wearing, but some people stare at you unbreakingly for minutes at a time or constantly keep looking over at you. I was on the train a couple of days ago and sneezed, I swear this fucking guy (I'm male) stared at me like he'd never seen anyone sneeze before. I glared back until he looked away, and started wiping my nose with a kleenex, so he started staring AGAIN! I mean, are you seriously going to intently watch me clean snot from my nose? WTF! What do you want? This is the type of thing that pisses me off. There is a difference between looking at someone quickly that you think is hot, and this kind of weird creeper shit that people do.

One time I was out shopping, and I was just waiting for my mum to pay for the parking ticket when I glanced across to see this girl just staring at me...I did what most people say - to just stare back till they look away - but she didn't stop staring and it got really awkward. I was so glad when we finally left but then as we were driving and I was looking out the car window - minding my own business - I saw her in the car next to me and she was staring at me again!! WTH?! To be honest (call me silly), I actually hate going out in public because it really makes me uncomfortable when people stare at me or even look at me. I'm no hypocrite though, I never look or stare at people unless they want the attention (even then sometimes I ignore them). I'm one to mind my own business, I may glance at someone and of course I'll notice people but I just don't understand why people are not taught that it's rude to stare! Btw there's nothing physically different about me. I'm just a 15 yr old girl. I dress normally and everything...anyway, I had to get that off my chest! lol

I just say " HELLO THERE IS THERE A PROBLEM OR SOMETHING I CAN DO? CUZ IF NOT GOOO" I only do this to people I see on a normal basis like at school lol

You do know the reason why you can feel someone staring at you right? There's a scientific explanation for it, and it's completely subconscious.

If somebody is staring at you, pull out your phone and start videotaping them. If a fight breaks out, they started it, because staring a form of aggressive behavior.
