You understand what you're truly capable of, and that in itself brings a certain kind of discipline.
You don't need to prove it to yourself anymore.

Yes i agree . Better being a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war .

“The more you know, the less you fight .” I feel like this is profound statement just about life in general

*I met Chuck Norris years ago in Cleveland, Oh. when he was touring for a movie he'd just made about a kid & him. He told me that he's neve once had to use his art/discipline in his personal life.
*It's absolutely true. Once you reach a plateau, you are able to see an event unfold & either sidestep it or diffuse it. You then choose which you wish to accomplish.
*He's a wise man.

Yes. I avoid conflict. I know my abilities and I don't want to go back to a certain place because of it. I've also learned how to let my pride go and walk away. The one who sheaths his sword is the winner. Your family is more important than your pride.

My Sensei used to say "When you are able to see the future, there will be no need to fight...'"

Long story short. I use to get bullied in elementary school. Never got bullied again in my life..in fact I stood up for a kid that was beijg bullied by 2 weak individuals. Needless to say I was gonna fight them both same time... they obviously walked out. A bully isn't a "tough" guy at all. A bully fights weaker individuals than himself. A real man stands up for individuals that can't or won't stand up for themselves.

I bet Skyrim bandits would still try to mug him, they'll even mug a man who's destroyed an army and killed dragons and absorbed their souls

I would always get bullied & picked on before I started weight training. Now people just smile & act cool 😂

It's called command presence. People can just tell. You only get that through specific adversity, life of death type adversity. On top of that your just more aware of your surroundings and avoiding things that could result in something bad.

especially women should take this to heart

I totally agree, because I felt I had to prove how tough I was to everyone before I started rolling! And I haven't been training that long! Since training, I'm really more comfortable in my own skin.

There’s been times when I was younger and would be more hostile to prove my toughness. I’m stronger and in better shape now and I feel there’s no need for any of that now

It’s the art of fighting without fighting. Using your chi energy 😂😮
