Sprinting is the bomb. Only drawback? I feel like I’m going to die while I’m doing it.

Great vid, buddy. I have been doing sprints for a week now. I am a good runner, been running for a while now. Just incorporated sprints in my workout routine (actually i am solely doing sprints as i am enjoying it way too much). Interval sprints has actually helped me a lot with metabolism. I can actually feel the stubborn belly fat going away everyday. RECOMMENDED for everyone who wants to get rid of the belly fat.

Sprint is the hardest exercise that taxes me more than any other hardcore plyometric exercise, doesn't matter how much better I get at them. Sprinting is still the hardest one.

Am I crazy but I feel like sprint interval training is easier than any other training. I do 2 hours every other day and it’s much easier than jogging or lifting. I am putting max effort each sprint.

What works best for me is full body lifting 3x p/wk (M/W/F) and then hitting hill sprints for 30 mins on Tu/Th with full rest days on Sat/Sun. I find that doing hills a few times a week in between lifts don't effect recovery because it's a relatively short workout. But man is it effective for building work capacity!!

Good advice. I used to do it like this for 400m training
Monday - Bend technique (jog the first straight then first bend at about 75% concentrating on form, jog to second bend - full out) Rest 5 to 10 minutes and repeat 10 to 15 times.
Tuesday - block starts up to 30 metres out with slowdown. Rest 2 or 3 minutes then repeat, gradually increasing intensity. 20 to 30 times in total. FInish with 1500 metre jog.
Thursday 400 metres from standing start varying which 100m straight or bend to go all out and which others to take at 75% percieved rate of effort. Repeat 5 or 6 times with ten minutes rest between each interval. Come back to track 4 hours later and do 4 to 6 all out sprints with block starts taking 15 minutes rest between each circuit.

That's it. Upper body resistance training performed Wednesdays. Lower body resistance training (mainly for posterior chain, very little direct quad work) performed on Saturday.

Hello coach! I'm 6'4 and weigh 185lb, haven't trained with weights ever. Though I don't look fat, I have fat on my chest and belly, and determined to work myself into a much better physique.
Ive to start with my body recomposition, how do I incorporate sprinting into it?
A beginner in sprinting too.
Help would be appreciated

I’ve been sprinting for about two weeks now, use to jog before but moved to sprinting because of how good it sounded haha. Definitely feel a lot better already, actually. But I don’t really have much time to hit the gym at all, will just sprinting 3-4 times a week suffice for both lower body and upper body, I still do push ups on a regular, sometimes along with crunches and squats whenever I’m up for it.

11 seconds is a brilliant 100 metre time. So your already a fit person. 2 times a week is very little for that person. Elite sprinters run 10 seconds or under with about 45 minutes gaps in competition. Footballers sprint multiple times during a match. Not 100 metres but easily 40/50 metres several times during the 90 minutes. I think if you're running 100 metres in 11 seconds you can deffo increase your frequency.
