When I was 31 on a well-needed trip to FL, some female relatives in their 60s made a snarky comment to me when I headed off to the beach. I will never forget it: “going off to get some pre-cancerous rays???” I went to the beach (in the shade, as I planned...) but it kind of ruined my fun. Granted, I wasn’t as careful in my 20s and 30s living at high altitude, (I am now more careful, decades later...) but I had fun. Outdoors all the time, year-round. I agree that protection and being sensible is key, yet not to the point of avoiding life. So my advice as an “elder” is to find a way to do both. 😊

it’s not only the skin care - make sure you eat organic whole foods ❤

Super interesting that there’s a difference between leave on vs wash off AHA products - good tip!

I have pretty much exactly the same routine except I use Cosrx 96 Snail Mucin serum in the morning before my vitamin C. I swear by that serum! I noticed intense improvement in texture and hyperpigmention I had as a result of pregnancy hormonal acne.

Loved the Video, the in Depth Explanation and interesting Information like 80 % of skin aging is caused by sun damage. A lot of people say Sun screen is important, but this info really shows how important it is. I also loved that u recommended multiple products and explained why they are so good. Very educational video.
Gonna watch the other videos as well. Thx for your Work!!

I also have an issue with clogged pores as well, what product should I use in the routine along with vitamin c serum, AHA serum and tretinoin ? And how should the routine be? Thank you for educating us !

I did not know that vitamin C (plus SPF, of course!) was better to use in the morning routine. I will try to change to a retinol product instead during the night! Thanks for sharing your knowledge <3

If skin aging is 80% caused by sun, does that mean that diet only accounts for 20% of the aging? My SPF use has always been on point, but I’ve struggled with binge eating until my 30s and I’m worried about how it has affected my skin also.

The advice I got is you shouldn’t use retinol while pregnant or breastfeeding. And since the the American Pediatric Association recommends breastfeeding until the age of 2, let’s say you have three kids… that’s basically a decade you can’t use it
