👉 You can use the following sequence as a warm-up routine prior to running, weightlifting, or any sports you take part in. It is a good way to increase blood flow to the hip joint and surrounding areas and will get your muscles working, especially due to the external resistance from the band.

👉 There are several elements here that we can break down, with the first one being the mobility element, where you are just trying to go through the available hip joint motions as smoothly as possible. Followed by the stability element, which is apparent when you are trying to resist the external tension provided by the band in a certain position and you can also turn this into an isometric exercise. And finally, we have the strength + flexibility elements, where you are trying to let the band take you into a range that you may not be able to do yourself and from the endpoint of that range, when the muscles are in an eccentric contraction you will create the concentric contraction and shorten the primary movers., thus working on the strength of the contractile tissue.
