Boy this video was so valuable. it changed my entire Amazon basket. I'm thinking instead of getting an expensive camera that can record prores I could get a cheaper one with this external recorder and in any time if I want to upgrade to a better camera all I have to do is to change my camera when they become more affordable and still i can use them with this amazing external monitor. I spent around $400 on 2 cages and the attachments for mounting, 1 for my camera and 1 for my atomos that way I won't damage my hot shoe mount and to protect the camera and atomos.

Hey Chris, I think this was the best video on Ninja so far. Super clear and nicely hands-on. I still have one question though: some people like to record the EVF for YouTube to show their workflow with photography (great example being Jared Polin), but I was wondering whether it is possible to record the EVF / the screen while doing video. My idea would be to show the audience what settings im using when recording videos.

That anamorphic lens is the Sirui 35mm! haha. Great compact anamorphic on a budget but hopefully they start making 1.5x and higher scopes in the future so the characters are a lot more pronounced.

I just got this Ninja monitor and had no idea I also had to get all these accessories just to use it! For something that cost $300 to $400 some of those accessories should have been included with the unit. But, good tutorial anyway! 👍🏾

I can’t find this answer anywhere: can you import from the SSD SATA drive to an iPad Pro via an adapter to usb-c? I edit video on an iPad and am not sure it will be compatible with the type of SSD the ninja uses.

Hey Chris, Thanks for awesome video. I have the a6400 & doing youtube videos in my bedroom. I was scratching my head whether to buy the Ninja V or not as it is bit expensive. Do you recommend it to go with a6400 ?
