We need more videos like this, a worthy question and some real experiments

Colors and lenses seem to really matter more and more with higher pixel density seems to bring it out. Ursa may be more “neutral” with its colors and doesn’t do as much color correction

Canon colors look miles better, but are probably less flexible in post. The canon softness also looks like what it looks like when a video is still buffering in a low res. Ha. At least compared to the infinitely sharper G2.

Honestly, it seems like having both nice lenses and camera body is the way to go. Especially with cameras in the past several years. They’re all pretty fantastic. And great affordable lenses are also popping up regularly. So even though lenses take the edge as far as long term investment, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to put them on a camera that can’t keep up.

But when everything is getting so good now, the key is functionality. What do you need the camera/lens to do? If people can answer that, they can figure out what they need. There’s literally a wealth of options these days.

camera tech upgrades every 3 years and Cine lenses upgrade every other 50 years frankly. Though I think the future is full frame.
