Mines being shipped now. Can’t wait to get it. I completely purchased it to dress it up, yet still preserve the practical utility of it.

I just bought one of these for a winter project. I wanna get my Ragnar on and build a badass Viking axe. I may do some more if this turns out good. Fantastic buy for the $36 I paid for it..

Just got mine today, no that's not it in the picture. And yes it does need some work. But since I have also purchased tomahawks from Cold Steel, I knew I would have to, and this is not a problem. The Axe over all has such a wonderful heft and feel, and I have seen a video where a guy takes the head off the handle and uses it to baton wood with, a very good idea. First thing I did was take the sticker off, using heat, came off just fine, no residue. Then worked on the handle till the head fit right. Next, sharpening the blade. Will I remove the protective finish, maybe in time. Good video by the way.

I want one, but I'm also Canadian. This hawk costs over $80 at the time of me looking. It's unfortunately a pile of crap for that price.

i like to think that they just sell the head and the handle is just a freebie added on with every purchase
