Being a 70s child, I’ve spent my entire life outside in the sun. Two years ago I had sun poisoning, and I never had anything like it. I was wondering what on earth was going on. Now I know! I can’t spend any length outside in the sun now, especially without sunscreen.

I've noticed my face really feels hot in the sun but other body parts not as hot, its strange! I expose myself to sun after the hottest hours, very early morning late afternoon, to help the brain as well with melanin

So far so good but the heat alone is just to much for me. The sun does give me a headache though and that makes me tired.

I live in east coast of USA . Was vitamin D deficiency and thought to sit on Sun for long time in winter to have some vitamin D and thus started sun burn and after that i started sun burn which was very bad and had to apply hudrocortisone ( steriod based cream) and pain medication like ibuprofin so it recused bit it keeps coming back when i go to sun with eye becoming mint like cool burning and body becomes so sensitive to little cold things having sivering inside the comforter also and feel warm skin. I am 43 and have a regular periods. So what could be the reason? Is it vitamin D deficiency or menopause or any nervous problem?
As i was having fatigue weekness and muscle twiching also . I have a south asian wheatist colour skin. Please reply?

Yes my neck is itchy right now from being in the sun but it was an overcast yesterday. But I have an itchy neck like I did after being in the sun full blast July 4th weekend. Only my neck up to my ears. Ugh.

This is great information and a good sun is very hot here all the time....but apart from the sun i notice that i have been having a burning sensation on my skin lately ..increasing my anxiety and was concern but a friend told me it was because of the menopause...so my question to you is..can menopause give you that burning sensation on your skin apart from too much sunlight?
