Body shaming is horrible and it can scar people for life. Thank you so much for this video. I'm not a skinny girl, but I've seen and heard about people getting mocked for their under weight appearance.

Believe me, skinny shaming is the worst situation ever to be in!! I'm 22 yrs old, 40 kgs and been skinny shamed by the parents, relatives and everyone around me, they make so negative and depressed comments for being thin. I'm facing it since my childhood, even now. Thanks for giving me such good vibes and hope, will surely follow you!! Can't wait to come back and share my changes to you dii. Lots of love!! ❤

So glad I found this. Can totally relate to this! I was 37Kg (height 5ft 1inch) when I sought admission for engineering and was commented on by our institute doctor during medical checkup that I'm a stick figure and that I need to rapidly gain weight in order to survive the intense life of 4 years of Engineering. I gained weight once I moved to the US after my engineering for work and have been able to keep a healthy weight so far. I started gym and that actually helped me gain muscle weight helping me gain some.

Watching ur vdo really inspired me.. ❤️ I am under weight from so long and now i am facing its bad consequences e.g digestive problems, acne, hair fall, etc.. and yesterday only i made a resolution for 2022 that i want to gain weight with a healthy lifestyle.. people taunting me never affected me much but when i see my own face with acne and i have joint pains, headaches every single day.. that inspired me to change it now.. when i watched ur vdo.. it motivated me more to not to STOP now ❤️

Hi Prerna …. I can relate to each and every word you spoke in the video. My height is 5’4 and my weight used to be 45 kg for 3 years ( when i was in my teenage). I was mocked by my class fellows and so many relatives. I was called skeleton, dandi and so much more. I felt so bad and under confident. I did so much but no result. But now it has increased to 55kg . But i feel it is still less according to BMI. I am having hypothyroid and allergic rhinitis. Also i want to share this is a very gradual process . I am still struggling to gain weight. But i want to tell to each member of our family who want to increase weight ….. please be patient and mindful about the journey . You will achieve your weight definitely. Please ignore all the mockery and hate comments. Your loved ones will always lift you and will never make fun of you . Trust yourself and go with the process .
