I just got a 2021 f150 This auto start/stop mode also prematurely wears out the starter I would guess. It is quite annoying. I will give this a try . Thanks

If you have a camper top, unplugging that makes the third brake light stay on permanently

Do it the right way and buy and install the start stop eliminator.

Couldn’t you just make a plug in connector activating some kind of LED or right at the trailer wiring socket to make the truck think it has a trailer connected or what else does it use to sense a trailer

Hey... I tried this and my third brake light stayed on permanently after unplugging it 😑...so it did not work for me
