No Engine Start/Stop Off Button? NO PROBLEM!

A little work around if you want to turn off the Engine Start/Stop feature but your BMW doesn't have it. This works for iDrive7 and iDrive8 but not 2023 BMW X1.

BMW has made such technical
advances from walking up to the car and starting it, keyless entry, key fob remembers each
person's preferences, keyless start, one button start etc...
Then...they remove the
deactivate stop/start button and make you jump through hoops to drive without the deactivate stop/start button. One of dumbest moves BMW has made. Yes, HATE the stop/start feature.

Better, ALWAYS drive in Sport. Comfort sucks anyway.

This does not work on 2023 BMW X7 with iDrive8. It shut off the engine if you change everything from Sport to Comfort. I need to try and leave Steering at Sport and check out again, may be this will work.

This car is garbage. All those buttons don't make car safer . Plain old physical shift gears, no touch screen bs, no telemetry surveillance is best.
