Description
Chard or Swiss chard is one of my favorite leafy green. It’s colorful, it’s tasty and it’s very easy to cook.
Today, I am going to share with you one of the simplest and tastiest recipes I often use for chard. It only takes 10 mins to prepare and to cook, which makes it a great fit for a busy life. And it leaves you no excuse not to add leafy green in your everyday cooking. After all, it’s easy, fast, and tasty ;).

✧ INGREDIENTS ✧ (Please check my website for detailed info)
300 g chard any Type will do
2-3 clove garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
pinch of salt to taste
pinch of black pepper
pinch of dried oregano
pinch of dried basil
1. Rinse and drain water off the chard
2. Separate the stalks and the leaves
3. Cut the stalk into small cubes and slice the leaves into small pieces
4. Mince the garlic cloves
5. Add minced garlic in cold olive oil and cook until it turns light yellow (aka. when you can smell the garlic)
6. Add in chopped stalk and stir to mix it the garlic
7. Cap on and let the stalk cook for 2-3 minutes (depending on the size)
8. Once the stalk is half soften, add in chopped leaves and let it cook for a few mins (stir occasionally)
9. Once the leaves are half cooked, add salt, pepper, basil and oregano
10. Stir, so that the taste can be absorbed evenly.
11. Serve & Enjoy
