I have been intermittent fasting for coming on 2 weeks. I've gained 4-5lbs. I'm in a calorie deficit, I do the 16:8, I keep an eye on my protein intake, and I work out 5 days a week. My husband has lost 4lbs while doing this and apparently I found it all... I've done calorie deficit before and lost 20lbs. I stopped tracking due to moving. I never hit my body goals, so I decided to go back into a calorie deficit and decided to add intermittent fasting as well. It's really frustrating seeing the number on the scale rise... I weigh almost daily, so that I see how my body fluctuates. That way I get my average weight. It's helps me recognize those days I seemed to have "gained" 2lbs overnight, I know it'll come back down. Also, that it's not a typical weight. If that makes any sense. I want the benefits of intermittent fasting, but I'm about to ready to stop doing it.

I’m on a weight loss journey and I’m on the omad diet, I eat my one meal between 14:00 - 18:00. I drink two to three cups of green Ceylon tea with lemon grass and natural sweetener, just that without milk, sugar, honey or anything. And it’s only one meal, no snacks or anything. I also work out one to one and a half hour every day. I only eat homemade foods, and I don’t eat candy or junk food. Even tho I’m eating one meal a day, I’m still keeping it as healthy as possible. I also don’t over eat. I lost 3 kg in one week and now I’m one my second week!

I lost weight initially and got down to my goal weight within 2 months. Now 5 months later I’ve gained it all back. I only eat clean and usually do a modified Keto. I stopped for the past week and I’m starting again today.

So I’ve been doing intermittent fasting going on 3 weeks now. Eating only once a day Monday-Friday with an hour of cardio/strength training and I’ve gained 5lbs. I try to stick to plant-based eating but I guess the eating “healthy” junk food on the weekend has really done me in. 😢

Autumn I love the idea of your coffee but I can't handle the taste. It makes me have nausea. I added less butter but still not even that did the trick. I tried black coffee and still got nausea. I am a Frappuccino and now a iced caramel machiato type a girl. Any other way to still give me energy to run the house? Thanks Autumn.
