What you do Jacob — because rats are smart and will eat the peanut butter without activating the plate — is you put on latex gloves and superglue cheese cubes to the trap. Then put more superglue on top of the cube so they sniff around the side and set off the plate. Never fails me.

Where you trap 3 there are Your Grandma & Grandpa's entire garage must be baited. P.s- that poo does NOT look like mouse poo. Rodent poo goes from tiny mouse ball shaped, to large ball shaped, for rats. Perhaps there are snakes in there as well, hunting those rodents. It may take a bit of detective work but you WILL make your grandparents home, safe again❤
