Rat-Infested Popeyes Gets Shut Down After Viral TikTok

Health officials have shut down a Popeyes restaurant in the nation’s capital after a viral video exposed a rat infestation. The guy who shot the footage says he delivers chicken to the fast food chain in the D.C. area. “Y’all ready?” he says before unlocking the front door, recording everything as he heads to the kitchen. Then, he turns on the lights. One after another, rats scurry up the wall and disappear behind a pipe.

I worked at a McDonald's while I was in high school and I honestly NEVER saw as much as a roach. The owner was so obsessed with cleanliness that I hated working there. As an adult, I grew to learn why. God bless him. 🙌

That’s crazy. Not only the rats climbing into pipes were there, but I also counted at least 3 visible on the floor. And that’s just what the eye can see, imagine the infestations inside the dark places in that kitchen! This guy is honestly a hero for sharing that because he very well could have prevented tons of people from getting sick.
