She was shocked that the contaminated items were being thrown out, but she wasn't shocked at the 13 dead cats? That's pure insanity right there.

She should be BANNED from keeping any live animal, forever

She didn't love cats, she loved having cats. Loving them is knowing when they're better off somewhere else, and letting them live better even though they arent with you anymore

"It can be washed!!!"

Were you washing them this whole time?!?!

“Well why don’t we just set fire the whole dang house?”

Probably the smartest thing a hoarder said

13 dead cats in your home...THIRTEEN DEAD CATS...I'm at a loss for words

This is what my house was growing up. I was constantly ill as a child and horrifically bullied for how I smelled. We had almost 30 animals and my parents did not clean up. Starting from a young age, I had to clean and it took all day every day with little change. No food or bathroom allowed and we'd get beaten after since it still wasn't good enough, my grades were poor because I had no time for homework, my parents openly admitted to having me so I could clean. And so much more. DCFS only intervened and took us once until they got it decent enough, then never intervened again and it got worse after.

Knowing I'm not the only one that lived like this brings an odd peace I can't describe.

There seem to be two kinds of hoarders:

The ones that hoard because of trauma, but are treatable because they mean well and still care about others

The ones that hoard and will never change due to their narcissism.

The fact that the cleaner lost his cool is really telling, since they always seem calm and collected

I can't feel sorry for a hoarder that hurts others. Be it animals, children or someone living with them like an elder. This made me go hug my cat.

9:35 He tells her she has a bag of dead cats and she just gets upset about her plates.

She’s not that fond of housework? That’s an understatement!

They should have her declared legally incompetent, and have someone else manage her finances for her. No money = no shopping = no hoarding.

Her saying the cats are fine and then they show that poor cat with its eye matted shut and what looks like an infection is so disgusting. She is in complete denial.

13 dead cats! 13!! And all she shows any emotion about is the bags of literal GARBAGE being thrown away. What a terrible, terrible person, I have absolutely zero sympathy for her

The anger, entitlement, and lack of regard are unbelievable.

She should be arrested for animal cruelty

I cannot fathom how it’s okay to return animals to someone that allowed them to be subjected to the horrors they were subjected to. Poor cats 😔

A shout out to the sons: well done for putting up healthy boundaries. Bringing her into your own house wouldn't fix her but would certainly do your family harm.

The fact that police are putting tape around the property, shows you just how severe this is
