If you're a person that often hits curbs, just take the bus because you're a danger to everyone around you.

If you often hit curbs you shouldn’t be driving.

I prefer Axis wheels over the Allied wheels.

If you’re a person that often hits curbs, you need to stop hitting curbs

steel good for bad and cheap drivers. alloy good for capable drivers or those willing to spend to look 1000x better on the road. not throwing shade at those who don’t care about their cars’ looks, live your life. so please respect those of us who do have a car that we treasure and want to look as good as possible

The difference with steel wheels is that they are more reliable and bend at a lower impact but they can be reshaped however theres still imperfections and is heavier. The aluminum wheel on the other hand takes a larger impact, much lightweight, but will shatter if that impact is heavy and is not reusable can also last long. Its just a preference at this point but i'd choose aluminum just because its lighter.

Well, in Finland these steel wheels rust pretty fast especially during the winter as we use road salt. Also, alloy wheels can be straightened and they won't rust.

Nobody is stealing steelies. That is the main reason I bought a set. Where I live it is completely legal to break into cars and steal people's rims. The police don't show up unless the theft is over $1000. I leave my car unlocked and empty so they don't break my windows. Moving south soon.

Steel wheels for winter tires, alloy wheels for summer tires

Steel wheels are a pain where I live. Every year you need to sand them down and repaint. If you don't they will just be rust wheels.

Unless you live in ny, steel wheels rust insanely fast if you use them in the winter

Ally wheels are actually Enemy wheels, got it.

Being a tire tech I have to agree with him. So many drivers are shocked to hear the cost of replacement wheels. Remember if you get a nicer trim car always expect a bigger bill.

True. Considerations though are that they heavier and for heavy winters, they rust hard and spread the rust onto the side of your car.

I prefer steelies. They look good when cleaned up and painted with a fresh set of lug nuts. My '07 Focus is lowered two inches with steel wheels and I get compliments all the time because it looks good but simple. Plus the steelies match my black hood, grille and lights

I’ll agree with this but if I get a car I want it to look good and you could probably find some steel that look good but most have hubcaps which I like the one piece wheel
