Get your 3-Gallon Top Fin Betta #BambooAquarium set up for your pet fish with our easy step-by-step instructional video and tank care tips.

This top fin kit includes the following items and makes setup quick and easy. First, place the tank on a sturdy level surface near an outlet. Then, using plain tap water, thoroughly rinse the aquarium and all its components. Of course, every tank needs some basic accessorizing. Begin with gravel and a few decorative items because your fish will need decor and plants to rest on, play with, and hide in. To assemble the low flow filter, first ensure the water pump is firmly attached. Then, hook the housing onto the tank and insert the new filter cartridge. Be sure to leave the light and filter unplugged while the tank is dry. Next, fill the tank with room temperature water. And don't forget to add water to the filter housing too. At this stage, you'll also want to add Top Fin Beta Aquarium Water Conditioner. Now plug in the power cords, leaving enough slack to create a drip loop for each cord to avoid a shock hazard. Most top fin filters will turn on automatically. Use the pump's lever to adjust the flow rate. Finally, make sure the lid is seated correctly with all cords exiting out the proper holes. Then, turn on the lights. Follow the product directions and always wait 24 hours before introducing your fish to their enchanting new home. This ensures the equipment is working properly and the temperature is just right. Your Beta Bestie will love you for it.

I love the design but how to place a heater. The lid doesn’t seem to have any space for a power cord to come out for a heater 🥹

Unfortunately this is not meant for a betta. The consensus in the aquarium hobby is that bettas need at least 5g. Plus it will need a heater for a betta as well. I found this at a thrift store and will keep snails and shrimps :)

You never keep a betta or any fish in a tank this small. Animal abuse. These poor animals need a 10g tank minimum
