This top fin kit includes the following items and makes set up and cleaning quick and easy. First, place the tank on a sturdy level surface near an outlet. Then, using plain tap water, thoroughly rinse the aquarium and all its components. Next, add gravel and a few decorative items because your fish will need decor and plants to rest on and interact with. This comes with an integrated filter, so all you have to do is add the filter cartridge and be sure to leave the power cord unplugged while you're setting up and the tank is dry. Next, fill the tank with room temperature water. And don't forget to add water to the filter housing too. At this stage, you'll also want to add top fin aquarium water conditioner. Plug in the power cords, leaving enough slack to create a drip loop for each cord to avoid a shock hazard. Most top fin filters will turn on automatically. Of course, you'll need to partially replace the water periodically to keep your fish healthy and it only takes a couple of minutes thanks to the hydro change pump. Any remaining larger debris and uneaten food will need to be cleaned out manually. Just lift the lever, spin it, and press down to pump the dirty water out. Finally, you'll want to ensure that the lid is seated correctly with cords exiting the proper holes. Then, switch on the lights. Follow the product directions and always wait 24 hours before introducing your fish to their enchanting new home. This ensures the equipment is working properly and the temperature is just right. Your fin friends will love you for it!

MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE PUMP RUNNING AND ON TO USE THE SPOUT to make water changes I thought mine was broken becuase it wasnt draining water almost returned it

Very loud filter!
Looks great. It is a brand new aquarium and the filter does not have a high and low dial. It has a + and - but no way to adjust it. I honestly hate the thoughts of undecorating it and returning, but the sound is really very annoying. 😢

Needs at least 500 grams of Biohome BioGravel and It would be perfect. But as is, I don't think so. My betta and friends would of appreciate the 500 grams of biohome filtration better. Come on people on the production line.
