New YouTube Shorts Monetization Requirements in 2023

YouTube has updated their terms and it will affect everyone! You must accept these new terms to both stay in the YouTube Partner Program and have the opportunity to start earning from your YouTube Shorts

10 million shorts views in 90 days is an absurdly high amount I think. If they didn't have that time limit, it would still be much but at least feasible. Looks like they just don't want small creators to make money 😕

How about video rules you didn’t touch on those? Can we still post videos from other YouTube channels? Can they be monetized? Under what conditions we can use publish videos from other channels, and make them ours and legally be monetized?

I'm not in YouTube Partners Program. My video is a recently posted non-commercial WWII educational documentary. Not interested in monetization, just want more exposure to my documentary. Am I eligible to submit 60-second or less clips for Shorts?

Its weird. I post one short and got about 1.5K within 24hrs. I post 3 more shorts later and get no views. 😢
