They are WRONG about the "Allemansrätten" (Right of Public Access). You HAVE access to be on private land!
This is how it works; "'the public has access to private land where no damage is likely to result and prohibition would be unreasonable"'. You can camp anywhere you want....in Sweden for one or two nights. (Not caravans dough....that's not real camping anyway) ;-) You can pick berries in the woods, climbing or hiking, fishing is free with rods along the coast and in the five largest lakes, you have to buy a "fishing-card" in many smaller lakes but that doesn't cost much. The nature is available for everybody.
With a few exceptions like peoples gardens, military areas and suchlike of course and with these "right to roam" come responsibilities; that is, an obligation neither to harm, disturb, litter, nor to damage wildlife or crops!

We do fika! I would say almost every workplace allows a fika-break. We don't always eat cookies or pastrys during fika, but almost always atleast one cup of coffee.

About the town moving because of the mine, its a true fact and an ongoing problem, the actual land has become unstable because of the mining so there is basicly no choise.

Sweden did help in ww2 but mostly to Finland, some volenteers went to Norway and fought but most to Finland and Sweden did send bomb planes to Finland plus military equipment and they built air flotillas in Finland with 20 planes and more came later on, Sweden built planes to Finland because they could not do it by them self at the time.

Finnish language has a completly different historical origin, so we can't understand each other like with Norwegian and Danish.

2 breaks every day 10:00 - 10:15 + 15:00 - 15:15 during paid working hours. This means that you work more and harder when there is no break. It has been scientifically proven that more work is done per day with 2 breaks. Then you have 1 hour lunch at 12:00 but that hour is not included in the working hours. On the other hand, you do not eat as many cakes every day, usually no more than 1 piece, but you change which variety from day to day, otherwise the Swedes would be fat.

No, allemansratten doesn’t only apply to public land. It applies to private land too. You just can’t walk across someone’s lawn unless you have no other option.

Fika is essential. If you never stop and appreciate life, what's the point?

Fika these days by most swedes you usally have 1-3 cockies or pastries. Mostly 1 type of cockie or roll or pastry. Since people are more into personal health lately.

23:07 "and I would just go to poland for cheap alcohol" You do realize that even though the countries are near each other doesn't mean that it's not a really long distance to travel just to buy alcohol

Micah, I really do recommend a trip here if you ever get the chance. But have a hefty travel budget. While it’s not as expensive as Norway, it’s not cheap. But it’s definitely worth a visit. Welcome, and enjoy.

You forgot That swedish people go to Germany to buy alcohol. The gaverment lies about the Numbers about how much we drink here.

Swedish is closer to English and Spanish than Finnish. Finland is a awesome country. But the languages does not share a single word

At my job we have fika at 08:00, 10:00, lunch and 14:30/15:00. The afternoon one being the most important as that is the one with the sweet treats. The others are just coffee and conversation with collegues (the boss included).

Fika is usually a cup of coffee and a cookie.

We won’t ever make the Hijab illegal, religious freedom, meaning your right to have any religion, if any at all, is cemented in Grundlagen (Swedish constitution).
