Trust me, I had to cut a ton of footage and this was the shortest I could make the video. After nearly a decade of my life devoted to this channel, we finally approach a little place I call "home." - Thanks to all my best friends and Fellow USA Geograpeeps that helped with this video, and hope you have a HAPPY 4th of JULY! ENJOY the #USA Episode!

I can't believe barbs flew all the way to the United States just to record this video, what a dedicated guy.

As a Moroccan-American, thank you for adding Morocco was the first country to recognize American independence!

I'm a proud Canadian, but if Canada is my home, the U.S. is like my grandmother's house I love to go to whenever I can. I've lived in the U.S., I have close relatives living there, I've been to about 17 U.S. states and D.C. I have a deep soft spot for this country and I hope Canada and the United States keep having a peaceful and beneficial relationship.

Also, I've watched your channel for years. I was looking forward to this episode and you didn't disappoint. :)

BARBS!! I’ve been waiting like 8 years for this episode… I couldn’t be happier 😆 - Nearly brought tears to my eyes actually… Our diversity, ingenuity, uniqueness and drive have made the American experiment so beautiful. - It’s hard to step away from the realities of everyday life but Jeez when you step back it’s truly beautiful:)

This is a really good video Barb! I knew a lot about the US and there are many thing that I did not like about it, but your video gave me opportunity to see this from different perspectives and my opinion about the country has changed dramatically!

This is the longest Geography Now episode that I'd ever watched, whether good or bad history / overrated and underrated landmakrs, the demographic of US is also quite complex! Can't wait for the next last few countries left! From PH 🇵🇭

Honestly, it sincerely warms my heart to finally see someone not just mindlessly dunk on my country but actually praise it and remind us all why our country is so great. Yes, we are far from a perfect nation, any American will admit that, but we are still a great and influential nation that has brought many excellent things into this world, and more than anything else, it's home, and I think it's only fair to have a place in your heart for home.

Americans must be very happy when their relatively unknown country finally gets the recognition.

The proudest American invention, which the entire world has benefitted from for over a century and will benefit from for centuries into the future, is the National Park system. There are more than 6000 national parks across the world, 424 of which are located in the US, all beginning with Yellowstone National Park in 1872.

Literally got teary eyed at the scene with your momma and you holding up our American flag 🥲just knowing she so embraces her new homeland and came here to provide you with the life you've dreamed for yourself is so touching and heart-warming!!!

Let me take a moment to thank Theodore Roosevelt for establishing the national parks service and helping to preserve a lot of this beauty.

I love how this episode captured how different and diverse Americans may be in attitudes and opinions, but still emphasizes that we’re Americans at the end of the day 🇺🇸
