As I run out of string for the first time this spring, I come back here to refresh my memory and OH YEAH! It's easy! Just gotta say how much I appreciate your clarity in this good little video.

Dude, I love you! I have spent all summer, asked a few neighbors and was not able to re-string my Ryobi. This....this was easy and it worked. No cursing, no putting the trimmer down and walking away, no thinking I should go buy a new trimmer. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m feeling accomplished.

Stumbled upon your video recently and sat slack-jawed at how easy and logical this is. I have an earlier model Ryobi, but your method still worked. Kudos and thank you.

4 minutes watching your video saved me an hour trying to figure out how to replace the string. Very short and to the point directions. Thanks!

I read the manual trying to understand it for 30 mins, and in 3 mins you did what the book failed to... thanks, this was a great help.

Thank you so much for this video. I have had my Ryobi for 3 years, and for 3 years I have been hand winding the line, because the instructions that came with it were so unclear. Today I needed to put more line in it, so I hand wound it, then I wondered if there was a better way, so of course I checked you tube, where I saw your video, I in wound the line, then re did it your way, what a difference. Now I know it is wound right, and it's so much easier to do. Thank You once again.

This video is SO HELPFUL! I used to do it the hard way by removing the spool and trying to reinsert, but never got it right and the line never automatically advanced properly. I can't believe how simple this really is after watching your video. Thank you!

I loaded the line your way yesterday, and used it today, I am so happy to say, it now works like it Did when it was new, and the line bump out, works again. Thank You so much.

Son of a gun. I've had this very same weed whacker for three years and never knew about this. Thanks for the tutorial.

Great demonstration! Their manual is not very good at explaining how to do this yet it was the main reason I purchased this model (reported ease of re-spooling). Thank you so much!!!!

A reverse-threaded nut... that's all Ryobi had to show us and they were too thick to do it.

Thank you so much for this video!
