temptation is one of the hardest things about being on earth. it is literally all around us, sometimes even hiding in places and people we trust. the enemy truly does come in all forms.

From personal experience with addiction to break it down simply you have to love your higher power more than the feeling you get from the addiction. Once you get to that you can let go of all of it. For me Jesus and the Holy Spirit comforted me and got me out of the addiction cycle.

I’ve been living for God for almost 40 years and have found that if you think you will never be tempted again in the same area or that you will never have to battle something that you thought you had the victory over 10 years(or more) ago you are wrong. The times these temptations have cropped back up in my life are times I’ve allowed myself to become lukewarm.

The thing that has helped me the most is when I HONESTLY ask the Lord to show me what my sin looks like to Him. If you realize your sin is going to ruin you and really want to see His perspective, He WILL SHOW YOU. And after that, you just have a really godly hatred for that sin. That is true repentance, granted by Him by His grace, so you can look at things like He does. It's a 180.

I find comfort with Jesus, knowing that he won't leave me. As a man of faith, I find it difficult to be vulnerable around strangers, and feelings of isolation and loneliness aren't always easy. Especially when everyone seeks outside validation on social media. I fully wear the armor of God daily. -Andrew

I’m stubborn.
I’ve thought to have completely beaten a sin and been very close to God to have the sin sneak back in. And then struggle with that sin again.
Being a Christian is tough but just never lose that desire to keep walking towards God.

LOVE the end in quoting Ps. 119!! Praise The Lord!! ABSOLUTELY spot on! His Word helps us not sin against Him. I have been hearing MANY stories from people who either were never a Christian or claiming to be, but never actually reading His Word (just a sermon in church). EVERY SINGLE STORY ended with each saying, "It wasn't until I started reading The Bible that I dedicated my life to Jesus, loving and following Him."
