When we think about core workouts, most of us concentrate on the "front" of our abs – upper, mid and lower abs. You know, those muscles that create that six-pack. But the abs include different muscle groups, and it's important to train all of them to get stronger, protect and prevent injuries and to gain more visible muscle definition.

Oblique workout and exercises are CRITICAL for building a strong and visibly defined set of abs. Even the best six pack won’t look amazing unless it is framed out by a shredded set of obliques.

In this video, we'll attack the obliques with 20 oblique exercises that will build a strong and stable core. Each of the moves is heavy on rotation, as this is a primary component of all effective oblique exercises. This ab and oblique workout will be performed on the floor, so all you'll need for this obliques workout is soft carpet or a mat.

4 exercises @ 20 sec work / 10 sec. rest x2 sets
12:55 SIDE PLANK DIPS RIGHT
13:25 PLANK SIDE HOPS
13:55 SIDE PLANK DIPS LEFT
14:25 PLANK SIDE HOPS

ROUND 5
4 exercises @ 20 sec work / 10 sec. rest x2 sets
16:55 SIDE PLANK REACH THROUGH RIGHT
17:25 SPIDER PLANK
17:55 SIDE PLANK REACH THROUGH LEFT
18:25 SPIDER PLANK

Obliques are one of my favorite muscle groups to work out and this workout hits those muscles HARD. Give this ab workout a try and I know you'll love it as much as I do!

Found this one a little challenging to follow because the countdown timer was not there - had to keep trying to watch the screen. That being said, it was still an AMAZING workout!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for all your videos! Started 3 months ago with 13 minutes and now working 20 minutes videos daily! Need alternative excerises can’t bend toes bunion surgeries! 01/24

That hurt. Thank you. Also please add a start beep and end of rest beep. So we don't have to keep looking up at the screen to see how much time is left..my recommendation.

Favorite workout for obliques.wish there was a beep at the end of 20 seconds. It was difficult to keep checking the screen while working out. Thanks.
