Regardless of your religion, these beliefs can be a reason to have a have a richer life.
In china however, you have nothing to look forward to, partly because religion is mostly banned, and also because of dire lack of freedoms and diminished values needed to have quality life

There is an inconsistency here. He implies 'leftover women' have options, such as building a career, and later funding education abroad. Yet he generalizes that 'nowhere girls' have no such options. That is a disconnect. Has the male chauvinism suddenly become much worse, such that it once allowed women to higher level positions, but now does not?
Also, I HAVE seen women in videos of the giant political plenum meeting.(even here, one in red at 3:41 and one in white at 4:44) Certainly, they're a minority.
