Today's video we will be talking about the clutch and how to avoid coasting. People generally pick up grade 2 marks in their driving test for making these simple mistakes.

The trick to avoid costing is to slow with the break first. When people clutch in too early they find their really hard to come off clutch because they are going to fast.

Great video. So stopping in 3rd a red light is ok? I've been getting conflicting instructions...1 instructor saying stop in 2nd. Another saying stop in 3rd. Thanks again.

If I'm at the stop sign and need to turn. 1 gear move of, but I usually keep my foot on the clutch, not pressing it down but just on it as I know I'd had to go up a gear in a second. Would that be marked on exam?
