I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max that I’ve been using as an iPod. Ever since I upgraded to iOS 18 my pro max keeps over heating whenever it disconnects from WiFi and it drains the battery. But when it’s connected to WiFi it doesn’t do that. What the hell’s going on?

It gets so hot I have to take it out of my pocket especially when I’m on YouTube. Same with my MacBook

Funny video! Why would I close all apps on ios18 to stop it from heating up in my pocket, when it didn't happen on ios17.

The problem is the OS itself. It's iOS18 and its bad programming. This OS is f*cked up from the beginning. There are NO fixes for this problem. None of your suggestions work. The only solution would be DOWNGRADING to iOS17, but WOHOO Apple unsigned all older OS-Versions.
So Downgrade is out of debate.

I never close my Apps. iOS is good at managing Apps in the background so foreclosing all Apps isn’t necessary and in actually drains more battery because your reopening the App.
