I love how many problems people have with watercooled blocks. Its CONSTANT. I've never heard these issues with air cooled, and they generally get better temps.

I had this exact problem with my Msi cooler. It took me a while to figure out that was the problem.

If anyone is having low frames, high cpu+memory usage while playing on a world, try lowering your render distance, I had this problem with the new 1.20 update, and this helped me go from 2k memory usage (minecraft alone) to 900 memory usage

Serious question why does everyone go with water cooling? Just finished building my new 13900k + 3090 all air cooled cpu doesnt get over 85-87c in cinebench. For those wondering im using a contact frame on the cpu and the cooler is a peerless assassin 120. I have the build in a inwin 301c matx case

that case in general also has very bad airflow, the tempered glass in the front is killing it

If that is heating up with Minecraft bedrock, imagine what it could of done with minecraft Java with 130 mods 😅

SMH, using an AIO to cool the CPU for Minecraft, a decent single or dual tower cooler can do better.

I dont think I will water cool again until I am dumping 5k on a PC...

I dont care much about great gaming picture fidelity anymore and 60 fps is more than enough for me to enjoy and not notice any issues.

I had an MSI water cooler on my cpu, and noticed my Temps were never amazing. They did fine, and after a few years the pump went bad and while uninstalling the water cooler I moved the pipes for the first time in years, and they instantly sprung a leak. I caught it quick, and let my pc dry off before I did anything... but sadly my power supply was still on the bottom of my case at the time, and it was fried when I tried to plug it in the next day. Had to replace my power supply and the cpu cooler (back to air for me) then, learned a horrible lesson that, luckily, did not ruin my whole PC. I bought the same power supply I was using, but a newer version... didn't swap out my cabling. Plugged it all in, no display but lights... turns out they swapped something in the cables between generations and I had to swap which cables went to my GPU and mobo. Terrified I just fried my GPU and mobo, I swapped out the cables and it came back up...

Never again will I trust a liquid cooler for a long term PC. If you plan to completely replace your entire rig every 2 or 3 years, go nuts... but these things just don't last the long term.

My first PC was 8 years old before I had to do a full upgrade, my second PC nearly made it 10 years. This current one is 4 years in and aside from the water cooler incident and my 8 year old SSD I brought from my last build, I haven't had to change out any parts and had no issues... and I still haven't swapped out my SSD... I just know I need to soon.
