This is probably best tutorial I found on yt ever, thank you so much! I dont expect much clicking on videos like this because they usually tell you about obvious stuff and stretch the video as much as possible, but this one is straight to the point and with a little bit of humour. My CPU temp is now at 75'C down from 95 and gpu at 70 down from 80. Its also solved my performance issues that I thought were caused by disk. I was literally about to buy a new one but turns out I just had to limit my cpu a little bit lmao. Thank you a lot man

Thanks man, the option 4 really helped with temps. Went from constant 70-86 to just 60 even while playing heavy games like the witcher 3

Adding another comment here to say step 4 worked for me. Hopefully doesn’t ruin anything else. I was running steady in the low-mid 80s playing apex legends. with this change, I played a match running mostly in the 60s into low 70s. Thanks good sir! Literally changed my gaming experience. I had to run low settings with a great rig just because my cpu was running hit(GPU, Memory, and CPU usage were all below 35%). Step 4 changed it to where I run at 50degrees even on high settings while playing a game.

So for anyone wondering if it effects frame rates, for me it did. I'm on r7 5800x and rtx 3070, my Cpu was idling at 55c w spikes up to 80c, and in games was running at 91c consistently. After following step 4 in the video, idle temps dropped to 50c and gaming dropped to 65-70c. Some games weren't too affected, like Apex legends where there was no difference to fps, but other games like Gta (went from 140fps to 112fps) and RDR2 (80-100fps to 65fps) were pretty heavily effected. It's a really really effective fix for the temps but ofc the exchange is that you lose out on some performance, but it's only noticable if your playing pretty intensive games :)

STEP 4 HELPED ME SO MUCH. Saved me the time I would have had to reapply thermal paste. Before, during gameplay my cpu temp would be 90+...it's chillin now at 65 degrees Celsius with no decrease in performance. Love you bro.

bro step 4 literally saved my cpu, it was running perma 100c on cyberpunk and now its 60~70c, thank you a lot for this, literally saved me from changing it

I switched power plan from Balanced to High Performance. Apparently there is some glitch on the balanced plan that caused the processors to overheat when going at full capacity, but by switching to high performance my processor is back at 4GHz without the temperatures climbing high.

step 4 actually helps with tempretures but not with performance. it actually made my cpu run at it's base frequency, even while playing games, it won't boost to it's max turbo frequency
