It's Total Body HIIT day! I am using 5 pound dumbbells for this workout but you can use a weight that is appropriate for you! We are moving quickly so you wont need anything too heavy! We have 15 exercises and we will go through 3 rounds of 30 seconds work and 15 seconds rest ! We are working on arms, legs, glutes, abs, the whole body! There will be times where you are totally out of breath, that is where you dig deep to push further! Remember-technique and form are the most important thing and always go at a pace that is appropriate for you and your fitness level! Do not be afraid to modify and change an exercise if it is painful or aggravates an injury as you know your body best!

Equipment I use:

*Please take note that calories burned vary for every individual depending on multiple factors (e.g. age, body weight, heart rate, height, effort intensity, etc). Any slight variation in any of these factors can dramatically alter the amount of calories you burn. I calculate all of my calories using an Apple Watch 3 with the High Intensity Interval Training Workout application and I am 28 years old, 5’8”, and weigh 145lbs so you can use my few factors as well as my intensity level to gauge yourself.

In this workout you are training with me, Sydney Cummings, owner of Royal Change and NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I am a fitness trainer is Charlotte, North Carolina and was a Division 1 athlete at West Virginia University where I was a national qualifying high jumper. I use my knowledge from my NASM certifications, bachelor’s degree, nursing school experience, and my elite athletic background to lead you through workouts designed to make you a stronger, more balanced athlete. My goal is to get you closer to your goals with each workout!

I love your workouts, Sydney! Please keep posting high intensity workouts with variety! I have been counting on your new workouts every day to keep me motivated! The variety is so important! I used to subscribe to another fitness channel on YouTube, but their workouts got repetitive and they would re-post old workouts. Crushed this one and it was awesome! The burpees always challenge me however I did a few for each round and kept moving! Earned this sweat today! Great way to start a week! See you all tomorrow #SydneySquad
