Edit 2024, and the music is still awesome! I kinda have a mixed opinion on this movie (I think Reloaded is a lot better and the first Matrix is a masterful work of art), but something the Matrix movies ALWAYS provides is kickass music!

I never understood the people who said this fight was boring. It’s well choreographed and the stakes are high. Smith has assimilated so many abilities by this point, that you know Neo is at a clear disadvantage. Especially when you see smith draw blood from neo in the building.

This fight most certainly heavily influenced Man of Steel's final fight.

I saw an interview once where Keanu Reeves said there was so much water in the scene that him and Hugo couldn’t even see each other. They literally had to memorize and time their moves. They also both got sick after shooting

1:24 the fact that they learned this fight choreography in rain and flashing lights, is awesome. This is the type of stuff that sets these movies apart from all others.
