I can't believe it was actually just a dirty disk. Cleaning it quickly fixed the problem.

Try the cleaning method first! I was trying to download Spiderman Ps4 on my Ps5 but it said the error, cleaned it and now it’s downloading! Thanks for the advice!!

I just Spent four hours trying to install watchdog legions from a disk and it kept saying error every 10 minutes. I finally ejected the disc and they were big thick fingerprints all over The desk, I wiped them off and it worked straight away

Hey guys the problem is u just need to delete warzone, I had 300gb extra space but so it still said error to download games for days . After I deleted warzone, surprisingly it worked. I nearly factory reset my ps5 but something told me just delete warzone and u will be safe. I deleted it and now I’m happily downloading games like I used to. Delete ‘warzone’

I found out that if you only get this error message for one game and it’s digital from the ps store then all you need to do is turn off your ps5, unplug it, wait a couple of minutes, plug it back in and turn it on like normal and it should work

you can go to uploads and downloads and pause the update file and just have the actual game downloading then when its done resume the update (if the game doesnt have an update then its an L for u)

Easily can fix this by cleaning your disk it worked for me use alcohol wipes and swipe horizontally

I cleaned the disk 3 times and it is spotless and it still doesn’t work

I was connected to my LAN cable so I just switched to regular wifi and it solved the issue
