I am 36 now and my back and shoulder acne is all gone now. When I was in my late teens and all through my 20's I had some very bad back acne. I really suffered with it and I think it was my hormones at the time. I could never take off my shirt and I would say the shoulder acne was the worst and it was rather unsightly. BIg swollen pimples and I loved it when they dried out. The only thing that sort of worked for me at the time was white Dove soap. I got around 30 and it started to go away and now it looks like I never had it. I feel bad for any guy or girl that has that shit it's a secret crisis that many people don't talk about.

I've had back acne severely since I was 13 years old and I'm 18 now. It is so depressing having it but it is not as bad as I live in England so I have my shirt on most of the time. I'm moving out to australia In a week and I'm not sure what I am going to do as It'll be too hot for me to keep a shirt on at the beach. It's a shame because I have been bodybuilding since I was 14 and have built up a really good physique but it's ruined by my back... real shame...

I had moderate bacne and chest acne for 3 years. I couldn't wear what I wanted, I dreaded summer and people would always ask my what was on my skin. I did some research and saw that someone suggested head and shoulders shampoo. I already had a Costco sized bottle in my cupboard an thought might as well. oh my goodness!! It works!!! use it as a body wash where you get acne/pimples and it smells way better than all those other treatments

You can use calamine lotion. Calamine lotion contains dry agents which help to heal the acne.

Seriously don't pay these "professionals" money.


I had terrible back acne for a long time and started laying down in 2 cup fulls of epsom salt bath for 20 - 30 minutes each morning.


Epsom Salt Baths dramatically improved the acne on my back.
