I'm 71, retired & am happier than I've ever been. I don't have to wake up to an alarm clock, I don't have to dress "appropriately" - in fact many days I stay in my jammies 😊just because I can, I don't have to put up with bosses, co-workers and I could go on. I have a few more aches & pains, take more pills (including vitamins & nutritionals) and all the other things that go along with aging (now, what was I doing??). But I would not trade being 71 for anything. This is the best time of my life!

Aging is a blessing. As a cancer survivor, I am grateful for each day.

I think getting older is such a gift...I had a full blown cardiac arrest at 34. Lucky to be here. 🙏

I have found that if I'm not well hydrated, my creapy skin areas are more pronounced. What a difference drinking water all day has made to the appearance of these areas.

Possibly addressing hormone changes particularly in women and possible hormone supplementation and how that will help skin support during the menopause years.

I just buy a 1000ml bottles of CeraVe cleansers and use it both for face and body, same with their moisturizing cream. Buying good basic cleanser and moisturizer helps to focus the money and time on better serums and treatments

I drink a glass of water if I notice my hands/arms looking drier than typical. I also up my electrolyte intake. I was hoping your video would address the 'crepiness' that occurs with weight loss while your body adjusts to the physical changes. Perhaps in another video sometime? Thank you for your advice and helpfulness. Keep up the good work! Namaste. 🙏

I am in my late 50s and have a lot of sun damage on my arms and legs. For about a year and a half I have use the CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser on my arms and legs and it has made a huge difference in the overall health of my skin.

In the 1970’s my dermatologist used a sunlamp on me in his office as a treatment for my acne. Dermatology has come a long way for sure.

I officially love this channel. You two are most informative but it's your attitudes about skin care and aging that I find most impressive. I'm glad I found you guys. I appreciate you!

One thing that I have noticed, I am 62 today is using Cerave my forearms the inside look pretty nice and I have noticed that older women that is where the crepey skin shows up first. Sun screen is amazing however, I understand we block the sun Vit D when we use it. I really like Cerave I don't know why I don't use it on my face. I have a ton of stuff I use on my face and I think I am losing the battle. But I am grateful to be on this planet breathing I have lost too many people to death from 20-45 so it is a blessing to grow old.

I use The Ordinary 1% retinol as my body oil a few times a week (it's in a jojoba + squalane base, perfect for body skin). It's super cheep, so I just buy 3 or 4 at once and pour them all into a bigger bottle. Paula's Choice also has a nice retinol body lotion but I personally prefer that Ordinary hack. Same with their Glycolic toner – huge bottle, works great on the body.

I worked critical care and ER for decades. Had to resign about 4 years ago for medical reasons. And you are right on about the need for sunscreen. Face, décolletage, and ARMS/HANDS! Nothing shows age like hands. I have very dry hands and constantly lotion up. I stick with Cerave, Neutrogena, and Cetaphil exclusively. I use the face cleansers for body care. Neutrogena extra dry for skin is great! People need to cut the daily bathing rituals which dries out skin. Change to every 2 to 3 days for full body cleansing and just wash the moist areas daily. Exfoliate weekly definitely. Full body exfoliation really helps those great moisturizing agents like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, ceramides. La Roche has a great hand product.

It is so true!! All you young people out there, listen when they say protect using sunscreen and cover up, if you want to look young when you are old.
I live in Florida and it's really hot. I worked outdoors for 20 + years. I would sweat the sunscreen off in minutes, so I wouldn't be as protected. I also would wear tank tops and shorts, because otherwise, I would've died of heat stroke.
I'm 46, and the difference between my skin that was protected and not is like night and day.
You don't notice when you are young, because you don't see the changes until you are older. My arms and chest especially are tan, but also tons of freckles, sunspots, crepy skin, whereas my stomach, back, and buttocks are white, but completely healthy feeling and looking.
Young people think, "Well a tan matters now while I'm young", but you WILL regret it when you are older, and there's nothing you can do about it.
Everything you do to your body, sun, drugs, alcohol, and food DOES affect you when you get older. Just because you can't see it now, doesn't change the fact the damage is being done.

you guys FINALLY helped me figure out what dozens of dermatologists couldn't, sabaceous hyperplasia! since then I've been using salicylic acid cleanser and a light moisturizer with salicylic acid as well as warm steaming my face once a week and in 2 weeks there is a huge difference! almost my skin of 15 years ago! some days better than other seems to be affected by sleep and water intake too but much better ! Thank you!

OMG at 115.00 before taxes and shipping I wish you guys would try to suggest some products that are as comparable as possible for us working class people who WANT to take care of our skin but find it cost prohibitive.

Apparently our favorite dermatologists have picked an expensive cream for our bodies. Forgiven.
I'll go to the local drugstore and check out Vichy Pochay, Cereavae or Bioderma I'm know I'll find the right body cream.💗
I'm I'm 71 as well. Have always tried taking care of my skin, but these guys have put me in a habit of taking far better care of my skin. I saw my dermatologist today, she's impressed with my skin, lack of sun spots and super positive about the products I use.
So from the bottom of my heart thanx bunches. 💕
