Take the quiz covering the information in this video here:

Video Production by Joshua Melendez

Partial Video Transcript:

"This video is going to be talking to you about prevention of the consequences that happen from sun damage, once you've already started experiencing the consequences.

So you've had pre-cancers or actinic keratosis treated by your local dermatologists, and sometimes those treatments are either through freezing or creams, but there's also another treatment called light therapy. And light therapy is broken down into blue light and red light. And with each types of light therapy there are different activators, but the procedure is the same. And the goals are the same, and the reasons why we're doing it are the same..."

Just had this treatment done last Friday. It was rough the first few days, then it began to feel better on the 3rd day. The treatment was a tad uncomfortable as well. After care... just keep it moisturized. Use a sensitive formula cleanser (wash 2-3 times a day), sensitive moisturizing cream & then cover with an ointment to keep it hydrated. If going outside, wear sunscreen & a wide brimmed hat! The first couple of days I took Benadryll to ease the swelling, which also helped me sleep. It's dry, tight, itchy & peeling now, but am excited for the end result!

Please kindly advise which laser light therapy is most effective for hpv viral and plantar wart presentation on the neck, chest, stomach, and feet regions. How many treatments are required to see good results. Kindly advise if the procedure is painful and requires tylenol beforehand. Kindly advise what to do before laser hpv treatment and post-laser treatment in terms of after-care for optimal results. Thank you.

Thank you for such an informative video! Having my PDTfor AK done in the coming weeks. My skincare routine consists of Tretenoine 0.1%, Vit C 10% and a few other less active ingredients. My question 1: should i stop using the above a few days before my treatment. 2: would you recommend any other actives in the future to prevent new AK from forming? Thank you!

What is the cost of PDT? It won't be covered by my insurance since it's going to treat my facial acne and enlarged pores...
