2.) keep it at a secret place
3.) don’t Tell anyone
4.) be grateful
5.) set up your dream team (what shall I do with the money?) lawyer etc.
6.) how do you want to be paid
7.) move, change number. Disappear
8.) remain anonymous
9.) pay off all debts
10.) help others
11.) learn to day „no“. And show compassion if you have to say it
12.) set up a budget (learn to say „no“ to yourself)
13.) keep working, do what you love. Don’t sit around because you’ll get bored.

I heard some great advice from Kevin O’Leary aka Mr. Wonderful on Shark Tank. He said if “long lost family” comes asking for a handout, you tell them “I’m not going to loan you the money, I’m going to DONATE it to you.” He also warns people to say “Now when I donate this money to you, it is under one condition. You never call me or speak to me ever again.”

Great advice! As a former lottery agent, I've seen and know dozens of lottery winners; this video is spot on with the exception of help others - that's the winners choice. You're not required to share your winnings with anyone other than Uncle Sam and your state's legislature through taxes.

Don't ever sign the ticket if you ever win and want to remain anonymous (which you should)...that excludes your ability to set up a trust to claim it for you.
