Poles constantly complaining about Poland but being patriotic at the same time is like a relationship with your younger brother. You can fight and argue all the time, but if a stranger tries to raise a hand against him, you kick his ass.

1. Taking off your shoes - if you come home, it is obvious that you take off your shoes so as not to bring dirt into the apartment, but no one ever tells a guest coming home to take off their shoes. The guest tries to simulate taking off their shoes and the host says no. This is all conditioned by the climate in Poland, from October to March it is either rain or snow. 2. Complaining - in fact it is a constructive action. 3-Opinion about Poles in the world - an opinion formed by German emigrants after losing World War II and by the Jewish nation having strange complaints that we did not help much, as if Poles were a free country during the war, where only in Poland there was a death penalty for helping Jews and even then Poles saved hundreds of thousands of Jews. Poles cannot understand that instead of gratitude there is contempt. 4. smile on the face - a Pole sees no reason to smile at every passer-by and stranger he meets. Someone who smiles all the time for no reason is considered to have mental problems.

When you come to Poland, just be yourself. I see the respect with which you approach Polish tradition and history, so I am sure that Poles will appreciate it and reciprocate.

It’s basically like having guest at home! It’s very welcome! And we will do everything to make him feel comfortable! But he can not tell what I can or cannot do in my house! Simple as that!😂🙏

About attitude towards russia and Germany. Even if we have similar historical grievances to both countries, current attitude towards them is VERY different. Germany is our ally, we have open borders and usually there is no fear nor reluctance. With russia story is basically opposite. I see no near future where our countries can be on such good terms as we are now with Germany.

Poles do not complain for the sake of complaining. It is rather a form of indicating what should be changed to make life better. If someone in Poland complains for the sake of complaining, it is usually about, for example, the weather, which an individual has no influence on. This Polish "complaining" annoys politicians, for example, because it forces them to work constantly because they can quickly lose people's votes. There is a saying in Poland that people's satisfaction rides on a speckled horse (a type of horse's coat) and can very quickly ride off into the blue distance if you do something inappropriate or are a lazy person.

If we are talking about visible cleanliness, for example, on the streets, Poland is one of the cleanest countries in Europe. In Poland, cleaning services currently work very well, there are a lot of street bins and order and cleanliness are taught from childhood. In general, cleanliness and order are a feature of most European countries, unfortunately, due to the uncontrolled and too large influx in a short time of emigrants from countries with a different culture and also one regarding the cleanliness of their immediate surroundings, this unfortunately resulted in a lowering of these standards in Western Europe. Unfortunately, but this is how I see it as a Pole who has already visited most European countries. Best regards.

I can't complain about Polish people, love them. Currently live in a country where I always watch my back, surroundings. For me there's no trust in humanity. Truthfully, anyone too friendly, you never know what they're up to.

What about the nationalism of the Poles. It is not based on "blood" but on culture. As described by the Polish philosopher and national activist Wincenty Lutosławski: "The Polish nation includes Polonized Germans, Tatars, Armenians, Gypsies, Jews, if they live for the common ideal of Poland. (…) A Negro or a Redskin can become a true Pole if he adopts the spiritual heritage of the Polish nation, contained in its literature, art, politics, customs, and if he has an unwavering will to contribute to the development of the national existence of the Poles."

If you are planning to come to Poland, I advise against August. We have school holidays then, so most attractive tourist places are very crowded. It's better to come in September - it's still quite warm, there are fewer tourists, and the prices are lower. I most recommend the "golden Polish autumn" - the second half of September - the beginning of October, when the leaves become colorful. Personally, for me, Poland is the most beautiful then, especially the mountains.

Hey guys, i have just watched few of your videos about my fatherland, gave you already a sub. If you want to know a little bit how important our country is for us, watch "The 'W' hour Poland" and some plus about how Polis army was stronger and fearsome than ancient Sparta, "Polish Husarz". Greetings.

One extra little cool knowledge; Poland was the only country in world that invaded Moskou, Russia in 1610-1612

As for Poland and its language, type different words into Google and see a map of how something is pronounced in different countries. Start with tea. Google will throw up other graphics of other words. Only then can you see that Poland is neither the East nor the West, it is a separate culture (you have to remember that today's Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, and even half of Estonia were in the Polish state, so culturally/linguistically Polish had an influence on it. Although the Russians dealt with it quite effectively). Besides, the Western Slavs are quite a separate culture, which can be seen in, for example, the Czech Republic.

I don't know. Poles are not uniform. There are also regional differences. In big cities, people live and behave differently than in the countryside. But overall, I think we are not very culturally exotic. I hope we aren't.
