Dewalt's New XR Compact Drill uses the newest 20-Volt MAX POWERSTACK Compact Battery giving it an unfair advantage to do the Impossible! The new DEWALT 20V XR COMPACT DRILL DRIVER W/POWERSTACK (DCD800D1E1) compact competitor the Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1/2 in. Compact Drill/Driver was used in this tool comparison of drilling through standard building materials like 2"x4" studs and 1/2" osb sheet material. Driving tests we're also done in this Tool test comparison using drywall and wood screws as well as self tapping sheet metal screws in to metal 20 gauge steel studs. Let us know in the comments what you think of the performance of DeWALT's newest Drill/driver, the 20V XR COMPACT DRILL DRIVER W/POWERSTACK (DCD800D1E1), will you be changing over from Milwaukee to DeWALT?

Honestly, you should be going with screws that are already started in the wood when doing the multi-fastener runs. Human error is such a big factor in a lot of your races.

Love to watch an old school TTR! DeWalt's new stuff is really kicking ass. Loving my DCF923 which is my newest by them. Finally scratched the itch I was planning to get with the M12 stubby. Very similar size, but even more powerful. Almost to 500K guys and well deserved! 8:34 "Why don't you just give me a spoon?!" Bahahaha. When he went to speed 2 with the 6Ah I literally gasped. Think you got your feelings hurt this time Vince!

Yeah I really enjoy watching your videos but I dont ever make my decisions base on your videos just because Vince is just way faster with his hands but not necessarily means the tool he uses is better he is just faster setting the screws. But your videos are always fun to watch.

HILLARIOUS!!! Competition is good from the big boy manufactures for us consumers. I laughed my back side off during the 1/4 inch Lag Fastners @ approx. 3:10 of the video when Dewalt waited for you on the third Lag to make it a closer race and still beat the Milwaukee. My wife came in the bedroom and asked me, "why i was laughing so hard". It took a second to tell her because I was laughing so hard and she said, "that wasn't funny". So I played it over and laughed again. Your character and the carrying on and whining was/is hilarious. Ridgid Ron

🤣 this was good fun Fellas👍👍👍 Ill still stick by the old adage that the tool that gets the job done is a good tool. Doesn't have to be the fastest bestest, and if it is right now it woulnt be forever. I know this from my many years still using the Dewalt 885 impacts. They get the job done and imo are great tools but of course just about anything else out now will outperform them. Nice to see Dewalt giving Milwaukee a good challenge in the performance Department.

I have both brand drills. I have the dewalt first 791 model. I will used that one over my Milwaukee every time. First it has the 3 light system. That one feature comes very handy when you're in close spaces. The second it lighter. Third it has the same power as the Milwaukee. Don't get me wrong it's nice to have the hammer feature if you use it a lot. Would be nice if Milwaukee can make this same drill with no hammer feature. Plus a longer light feature. That's why I will use my Dewalt 791 over Milwaukee hammer/ drill. Now I need to get the new compact version.

Thanks for the video...

@Charles Eye - I totally agree. Because the "user" is slow does NOT mean that the drill is slow.
