What despicable and horrific malpractice, in my opinion. How do they expect people with personality disorders and corresponding mental health challenges like depression, or bipolar ever to get any assistance if they start saying that were lying about her symptoms when it’s very clear we have symptoms. Ridiculous and I’m sorry you endured that.

Your story is so strange! My girlfriend (who is a diagnosed psychopath) was diagnosed at a hospital because of breaking some glasses and threat nurses with surgery knives, but not with aspd. She was first diagnosed with anger issues, then, narcissistic, then sadist and at last (after a year she got diagnosed with those) finally a doctor said she had aspd.
My story is just so normal 😅. I'm a masochist, so it was not something people can't see. I didn't born this way, after some trauma, I got, so people knew it wasn't my normal. I'm 16 now, and since my 9, I always have different scars on my body. Once, my teacher told me to see a psychiatrist, but I liked the pain so much that I was afraid of the doctor stopping it. My older sister forced me to go to a psychiatrist 5 years ago, and I was diagnosed with masochism and depression at the age of 11.

I've literally been lying to my psychiatrist for months because I'm scared that having a mental disorder on my record would make my doctors blame my chronic pain on me.

But I'm gonna come clean to them soon, because it turns out, my doctors blamed my pain on me anyway! 🙃 It didn't even fucking matter! Even while stuck in a wheelchair in constant agony, they just shrugged and said I was lazy!
Even more medical trauma to work through, yay!

Why would you need an anti-anxiety medication if you’re never anxious?

I hate it when people judge others because they don’t have or want diagnoses
Like kids pls pls get it into your heads- it’s hard and expensive and have unavoidable repercussions on how people are going to perceive and treat you for the rest of your life.

Lol " just to get some valium" .... been there! lol. Instead I walked out with a crappy antihistamine, adderall, and latuda. It's so hard for psychs to believe me about anxiety and supposedly bc im bipolar they have to be careful what chill pills i can get. I was getting tired of being prescribed anxiety meds that didnt work( everything but the good stuff) so eventuality i just stopped bringing it up. Soo here I am drinking alcohol instead as a self medication when coping with anxiety. I guess I can't always get what I want, but at least I got help with my other issues for now 🤷
