As much as I hate to do this but, I have to re upload this video due to an editing error on my part. However, I'll keep this upload as unlisted with a link to this in the new upload so the comments will stay intact.

Here's what happened: While boosting the volume I threw the audio and visuals out of sync by a few frames, it's not really noticeable though someone in the comments noted how the dialogue wasn't matching the movement of people's lip movement. I thought it looked off at first as well and wasn't sure if I was seeing things, but after that comment I went back to my editing suite and noticed the blunder. Doh. But hey, as long as you have the URL of this video you'll be able to find it on my channel. Sorry for the double dose!

Those 2 Star Destroyers colliding (or at least scraping) has always made me think "how stupid are you to not watch where you're going?! You're in effin' space! You have plenty of room to maneuver!" It makes Vader constantly executing officers seem reasonable. They're incompetent on multiple levels.

That vertical double corkscrew manoeuvre is magnificent.

After the original Star Wars, which had already blown the minds of young sci-fi nerds like me, we wondered what they would do for an encore - and holy crap were we not disappointed -- we got Imperial Walkers, Yoda, the asteroid chase scene, the Emperor, Vader's pod, Cloud City, Lando Calrissian, Boba Fett, the epic fight scene between Vader and Luke and the big reveal.

1:55 - "They'd be crazy to follow us, wouldn't they?" - I was watching this with my girlfriend a few days ago, when Han said that line, she looked at me and said "I think that single line shaped your personality." LOL

I Love The Empire Strikes Back so much. The Empire Strikes Back is an excellent and great Star Wars film, it is the second best Star Wars film along with Star Wars 1977, and Irvin Kershner's direction for the film was absolutely stellar. The Empire Strikes Back was the sci-fi film that came out after Alien, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, and Disney's The Black Hole in May 1980, The Empire Strikes Back had so many brilliant moments like the chase through the asteroid field with the Millennium Falcon and Luke's lightsaber fight with Darth Vader on Cloud City, and Frank Oz was amazing as Yoda. I also love Alien, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, and The Black Hole. Alien by Ridley Scott is one of my absolute favorite sci-fi films, Star Trek: The Motion Picture was a very good Star Trek film, and The Black Hole with Robert Forster is a very underappreciated and great sci-fi Disney film with a superb John Barry music score.

This scene alone needs to be preseved as one of the greatest cinema sequences in human history. This would have completely blown my mind if I would have saw this in the 80s.

TESB combined the best of everything in Star Wars..great direction, one of John Williams' best movie scores (particularly this sequence and when the X wing is removed from the bog), great story line (not the FX trying to make up for poor writing in later episodes; and the resurgence of a Death star) and Yoda was introduced..."Yoda, you seek Yoda".

I remember as a kid, when playing Shadows of the Empire on the easy difficulty, I would just put the controller down and watch as the enemy fighters would kill themselves crashing into the asteroids.

0:24 the Imperials are like "OMG he dove on the z-axis?! That's crazy!" (and almost crash into each other which is beyond incompetent) - no shit you're in space! You can go any direction you want! so funny and bizarre when you think about it

It's interesting that my two favorite sequences in all of Star Wars movies involve the worst tactical maneuvers by Imperials: there's these two Star Destroyers running into each other, and then Darth Vader's Tie-Fighter wingman swerving into him in the Death Star trench battle. While watching this 4K sequence, I wonder if Han and Leia's dialogue was always slightly out of sync at times or perhaps it is slightly off because of restoration or 4K processing, or even because of the 4K clarity, anything overdubbed is going to show it more. Actually, it appears like it's uniformly off a few frames. Also, did you ever notice in that great shot where the Falcon swoops up before diving into the big hole, that the ground seems to change or reposition from before the Falcon swoops up @3:29 to after it swoops down and suddenly the big hole has moved there?

I noticed that C-3PO didn't say, "there is no where to go" after "this is suicide." as it should be.
