This sequence is unquestionably the best 10 minutes of Star Wars there is. Absolutely incredible stuff.

Seeing that movie in 1980 as a 12 year old kid was like being a 10 year old kid going to Disneyland for the first time. And trust me, was truely an incredible experience that I will never forget for the rest of my life. Went to see it 2 other times after that, couldn't get enough of it.
